Bents was first conceived in 1937 when Alfred and Margaret Bent began cultivating and selling roses from their front garden in Glazebury. Though today, it’s grown into a vast and verdant HQ, where the third-generation family team channel their passion for plants and the good life.
You can dine in the bucolic Open Skies Glasshouse, grazing on tapas or ordering just-baked cakes, hand crafted sandwiches and artisan salads, surrounded by a tangle of plants. Or during summer, diners sit on the Alfresco Terrace for languid lunches of homemade delicious dishes or hot, billowing pizzas washed down with a glass of something crisp.
And that’s before you’ve discovered the curated world of interiors and garden knick knacks you’ll want to pick up. All this plus kiddie play areas (including a covered beach area) and a whole calendar of events and workshops.
As one of the UK’s most progressive and innovative garden centres, we’re thrilled to be supporting the very first Muddy Stilettos Cheshire Awards. Whoever your favourites are it’s time to give them your support and get voting!
