<p>This is one of my all-time favourite haunts in Stockport Old Town. It’s from Sam Buckley of Where the Light Gets In and inside you’ll find a bakery and pottery studio. But I adore the coffee. There’s always fresh bread for sale, cinnamon buns and sticky cakes all made in-house. And in the evening, small plates and natural wines are served to diners on communal tables.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-just-between-friends-wilmslow"><a href="http://justbetweenfriendscoffee.com/">Just Between Friends, Wilmslow</a></h2>



<p>Another favourite of mine for coffee. The original is in Ancoats, but they opened this one up in Wilmslow a few years ago with bare brick walls, loads of plants, huge windows and tables along one wall. I really love the vibe here and the independent feel and they have great decaf.</p>

<p>This independent lifestyle store has an amazing mix of brands such as Baum und Pferdgarten and Sideline to name a few! The staff are all so welcoming and it’s really relaxed. I could spend hours rummaging through the rails.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-black-white-denim-wilmslow"><a href="https://blackwhitedenim.com/">Black White Denim, Wilmslow</a></h2>



<p>Jo, the owner of this gorgeous space, has such an eye for amazing pieces that will work really hard in your wardrobe. It has a lovely friendly feel to it. I&#8217;m often in there for ages chatting to the team. And they have also just started stocking GANNI which is mega.</p>

<p>When I need to escape the buzz of life and dive into the great outdoors, I love a lake swim at Pickmere. Especially in the winter &#8211; there is nothing better than the feeling you get after a freezing swim. Definitely the best start to the day.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-beauty-by-pascale"><a href="https://www.instagram.com/beauty_bypascale/">Beauty By Pascale</a> </h2>



<p>For brow TLC, I head straight to beauty therapist, Pascale Woolley who does her thing (semi-permanent make-up, massage, eye treatments) at Beyond the Mirror in Stanley Green. She also gives the most incredible facials and is the loveliest person.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-clay-and-blossom-ashley"><a href="https://www.clayandblossom.com/">Clay and Blossom, Ashley</a></h2>



<p>A gorgeous and calming hair salon draped in wisteria, Clay and Blossom is run by Lynsey who always gets my colour absolutely bang on and really cares about the health of my hair. She also just knows how to make it manageable away from the salon. It’s always such a chilled experience and the salon is a beautiful space with bare brick walls, wooden panelling and muted tones.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-fold-marple-bridge"><a href="https://www.foldbistro.co.uk">FOLD, Marple Bridge</a></h2>



<p>For a cosy incredible dinner it has to be this bistro and bottle shop in Marple Bridge. These guys deserve a Michelin star for their British seasonal sharing plates &#8211; I know they try to source lots of their ingredients from local suppliers. Every dish is incredible, from Liverpool Bay Wild Seabass to the Golden Potato with coriander, dill and garlic. And even though the food is taken seriously, the atmosphere is so laid-back plus the staff are always friendly and welcoming.&nbsp;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-studio-34-alderley-edge"><a href="https://www.studio34reformer.com/">Studio 34, Alderley Edge</a></h2>



<p>I&#8217;ve recently started reformer pilates at Studio 34 in Alderley Edge and I absolutely love love love it! I have to really fall in love with an exercise to make me go and I really did with reformer. The studio and staff are so gorgeous plus they have an amazing café next door for delicious post-class matchas or coffee.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-detaljer-knutsford"><a href="https://www.detaljer.co.uk/">Detaljer, Knutsford</a></h2>



<p>Undoubtedly Knutsford is all the better for this Scandi lifestyle store and café. It’s the sort of place you can browse the homeware, gifts and cards before grabbing a coffee and cinnamon bun on the opposite side and deciding which vase/print/knick-knack for your kitchen you’re going to buy.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-still-life-stockport"><a href="https://still-life-story.com/">Still Life, Stockport</a></h2>



<p>Stockport has changed so much in the past few years with creative restaurants and independent stores like this lifestyle shop on Marketplace. You can find lots of homeware bits and bobs, gifts and amazing flowers. It’s impossible not to buy something.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-rigatonis-altrincham"><a href="https://www.letsrigatoni.co.uk/">Rigatonis, Altrincham</a></h2>



<p>I&#8217;ve been such a fan of this place for years. Everyone squeezes into the small place around big wooden tables and orders pasta with a spoon, scooping up every last drop of the sauces. The broccolini pasta is unreal, with anchovy butter, parmesan and crispy toasted breadcrumbs. It’s perfect for a date night but also one to take the kids too.</p>
