<p>I’m a massive fan of independent coffee shops &#8211; I like the individuality of them. And at this one in Sandbach, they do the smoothest, nicest coffee ever and the people who work there are lovely. It’s also right next to my favourite charity shop in Sandbach, <a href="https://slhospice.co.uk/shops/sandbach/">St Luke’s</a>.</p>

<p>I absolutely love Elite Pre-Loved – it’s full of designer goodies. The idea is that sellers leave their clothes at an agreed price and they earn when it sells. If you have a good rummage around, you might find that designer item you’ve always dreamt of having in your wardrobe, and pick up a bargain at the same time.</p>

<p>Barnardo&#8217;s in Didsbury is my favourite charity shop – it’s a vintage store and they always have incredible finds in there. The trick is to have a good rummage – you never know what you’re going to find hidden on a rail.</p>

<p>I love going to Kast Aesthetic for my skincare treatments. All the staff are very professional and knowledgeable. When you arrive for your appointment, they look at your skin and personalise their treatments to you. Every time I’ve been there for a facial, I’ve walked out and seen immediate results. It’s local to me in Sandbach which is perfect. I also love the girl who does my eyebrows and nails, Katie from <a href="https://katielewisbeauty.book.app/book-now">Katie Lewis Beauty </a> – she knows exactly how I like them.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>I love Hawksmoor. The wine, the incredible food and the ambiance. It’s a great atmosphere and you just know you’re going to have an amazing meal surrounded by gorgeous interiors. It’s worth every penny. The steaks are outstanding and I love all the little sides you get with it – I’ve never had a bad meal there.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-porta-altrincham"><a href="https://www.portatapas.co.uk/">Porta, Altrincham</a></h2>



<p>When you’re here, it feels like you’re in Spain – it’s so cosy and very well priced, too. There are candles dotted around and we all know I love a good ambiance. It has all of the classic tapas dishes on the menu including patatas bravas, scallops and calamari. You just know it’s seriously good quality. I love the olives in there so much.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-raffaele-sandbach"><a href="https://www.raffaelesandbach.co.uk/">Raffaele, Sandbach</a></h2>



<p>This place is so special to me, I’ve been going here since I first moved to Sandbach.<a> </a>It’s a very authentic Italian place – the owners and staff are so lovely, they also serve my favourite red wine, Cui Cui, and they make the best chocolate martinis. It’s great in the summer, too, when you can eat outside and people watch.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-brereton">Brereton</h2>



<p>I know it sounds very cliché, but when I want to escape, I&#8217;ll just take myself off to a new town, somewhere I’ve not been before. I also love going to Delamere Forest or Brereton near me for fresh air – also having a coffee at <a href="https://thelittlecowshed.co.uk/">The Little Cow Shed</a>, Brereton. I’ll look at what charity shops are nearby. I like to explore new areas, shop in the charity shops, stop for coffee – I like little streets. They often have cute independent shops, too. Something I have learned along the way is the smaller towns generally have the best charity shops. And if you find one close to a parking space, you could be very lucky. People don’t want to be hauling their bags of donations a long way. They want to be able to park up, drop their bags and have a rummage too – which often means those shops have the best stock!</p>
