<p>Roll up roll up! Tickets go on sale Fri 25 Oct for the wildly popular <a href="https://www.forestryengland.uk/music">Forest Live</a> &#8211; the annual summer music bash held in a patch of wilderness in Delamere Forest. Stockport indie-rockers, Blossoms, have been unveiled as headliners on Sat 21 June &#8211; the North West five-piece who stormed the stage at Glastonbury in 2023 with none other than Rick Astley. Expect a rollicking performance and some of their best tunes from the band&#8217;s recently released fifth album, Gary, produced by The Coral&#8217;s James Skelly. &nbsp;Singer-songwriter&nbsp;Seb Lowe&nbsp;and fellow Mancunian up-and-comers&nbsp;The Guest List are also set to grace the stage.</p>

<p>Klaxons please! The literary phenomenon that is Kate Mosse is coming to Chester&#8217;s Storyhouse on Mon 8 April and The Lowry on Tues 11 March. Part of her highly-anticipated theatre tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of her global hit <em>Labyrinth</em>, the dramatic and immersive one-woman show deep dives into the novel, taking fans from the Languedoc to the Pyrenees, whilst sharing the secrets behind her writing. </p>

<p>Hands up who loves a good Thai? A great big mound of Pad Thai or firecrackingly hot curry to take you back to those easy breezy backpacking days along the banana pancake trail. All sunshine, snorkelling and singha beers? Ok, so the new <a href="https://www.naakin.co.uk/">Naa Kin</a> on Wilmslow&#8217;s Water Lane might lack the exotica of Thailand but by god, it&#8217;s a good &#8216;un. A wonderfully laid-back yet buzzy sort of place, where the massaman tastes just like it did all those years ago on Koh Tao and punchy spices have you reaching for the lychee martinis.  </p>

<p>Everyone across Didsbury, hell, the entire north west, wept when Simon Rimmer announced he was closing the doors of Greens Didsbury on Lapwing Lane. But one good thing to come out of the tragedy is the empty restaurant is empty no more. The space has just been taken over by the crew of Spanish-inspired Porta, whose original outpost sits in Chester. Pull up a pew, order an Albariño<em> </em>and if you squint hard enough, you might just believe you&#8217;ve landed in Seville. Set to open in November. </p>

<p>Acclaimed chef Sam Buckley and his cooking crew from <a href="https://www.wtlgi.co/">Where The Light Gets In</a> are decamping from their Stockport HQ for five months and helming a bunch of pop-ups in Manchester from Thurs 21 Nov. First up is a month-long residency at events space Altogether Otherwise, followed by The Bungalow at Kampus and other soon-to-be-revealed locations with workshops, exhibitions and collabs focusing on cooking, film screenings, banqueting and foraging. Basically all the good stuff in life. Move quickly as tickets will fly out. </p>

<p>If you have mini dino fans at home but didn&#8217;t get round to booking the epic blockbuster-themed <a href="https://jurassicworldexhibition.com/uk/">Jurassic World: The Experience!</a>, then listen up! The exhibition at the Trafford Centre was due to close on Sat 2 Nov, but thank the lord, they&#8217;ve decided to keep it going until Sun 12 Jan for jaw-dropping meetings with a T-Rex, brachiosaurus and velociraptors once you&#8217;ve strut through those iconic Jurassic World gates.</p>
