It&#8217;s official! &#8216;Affluent, ambitious and aspirational&#8217; Knutsford has been crowned one of the best places to live in the UK for the second year running in the Sunday Times&#8217; annual list. One of seven locations across the north west, judges described Knutsford as &#8216;one of the classiest towns in Cheshire&#8217;, and as &#8216;a magnet for aspirational families, upwardly mobile young professionals and downsizing couples, Knutsford just gets better and better.&#8217;



But we already knew that! Why? Because it’s undeniably one of the prettiest town centres in Cheshire, where independent stores and creative restaurants are squirrelled away in its collection of Tudor, Georgian and Victorian buildings. Where locals stomp through the vast green wilds of Tatton Park before warming up in a crumbly pub or escaping into the bucolic loveliness that surrounds Knutsford on all edges. It’s pretty, it’s fun and it’s kinda cool.

The tiny town of Malpas also made the list, described as &#8216;a prestigious address, in demand with the county set for its enviable homes, many with views to the Welsh Hills, and equestrian credentials.&#8217;
