<p>Jospeh Otway is the culinary genius behind this enduringly cool neighbourhood restaurant that&#8217;s been making waves since opening in 2023. Service is sharp and friendly, ingredients is hyper-local and seasonal &#8211; much of which is plucked from the team&#8217;s very own Cinderwood Market Garden &#8211; and flavours are knockout. For the best seat, hunker down at the counter where you can stare at the open kitchen and graze on some of the best small plates in the city. Number 17. </p>

<p>Listed as number 67 by SquareMeal, Another Hand has rightfully gained a glowing reputation for its sustainably-tuned and beautiful plates of food washed down with natural wines. And it&#8217;s seemingly a permenant fixture in the food press after racking up plenty of gongs for its masterful and playful cooking from the crew behind 3 Hands Deli. </p>

<p>To call this unassuming joint at number 84 a &#8216;pasta place&#8217; is to undersell its appeal. You <em>can </em>order pasta here, but the dumplings, spätzle (German-like noodles), and European-style pasta dishes are a whole other level of comforting carbs amid interiors of effortless Manchester cool. It&#8217;s all outstanding.</p>
