<p>If anyone knows the best places to recharge in Cheshire, it&#8217;s Charlotte. Studio Director at <a href="https://www.satyasanctuary.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Satya Sanctuary </a>in Knutsford, she&#8217;s spent more than a decade in the wellness industry and has called the town home since she was a toddler, so she&#8217;s got the local knowledge to match. From her fave coffee stop to the places she swears by to escape, here&#8217;s where this wellness expert heads when she&#8217;s clocked off. </p>

<p>My fave coffee pit-stops? If I had to narrow it down, it would be pink-tinged <a href="https://www.yasbean.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Yas Bean</a> in Macclesfield, <a href="https://duda.coffee" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Duda Coffee Roastery</a> in Antrobus and <a href="https://www.detaljer.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Detaljer</a> in Knutsford. They each offer something completely different, but all serve exceptional coffee in beautiful spaces with a brilliant atmosphere. I particularly love the sense of community at Yas Bean, the surroundings and story behind Duda and the family vibes at Detaljer injecting a bit of Swedish Hygge into the town. </p>



<p>On the rare occasion I’m not in the mood for coffee, <a href="https://www.aprils-kitchen.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">April’s Kitchen</a> in Knutsford has converted me to <a href="https://cheshire.muddystilettos.co.uk/drink/where-to-find-the-best-matcha-in-cheshire-to-get-your-caffeine-fix/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">matcha</a>. I’ve tried it many times to no avail but their green concoction is gorgeous!  </p>

<p>For gorgeous clothes at great prices I love <a href="https://www.theeditboutique.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Edit</a>. They have something for every age, size and style, and the team are just lovely, especially Lucie at Knutsford and her gorgeous pooch, Dottie. I know I can walk in with no idea what I’m looking for and leave with the perfect outfit. It’s one of those shops that makes you feel great the moment you walk through the door.</p>



<p>And then there&#8217;s <a href="https://www.detaljer.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Detaljer</a>. If you haven&#8217;t sought out this Scandi-cool indie shop in Knutsford, you have to go. It&#8217;s brilliant for gifts, from gorgeous mugs and art prints to quirky wrapping paper, and you can always find something thoughtful for your besties. And the best bit? They serve up gorge coffee and Scandi-inspired cakes and bakes too, with seating wrapped around the vast windows</p>



<p>I also love <a href="https://www.rihome.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">R.I Home</a> for beautiful homeware and <a href="https://www.kanoaliving.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kanoa Living</a> for crystals, wellness gifts and pieces that feel a little bit different.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-the-great-outdoors">The great outdoors</h2>



<p>I love The Edge in Alderley &#8211; it&#8217;s a dreamy spot to escape to. There’s something really magical about it. Despite being just a stone’s throw from Alderley village, it feels completely removed from everything. The views, the woodland and the folklore surrounding it make it one of my favourite places to reset. And then there&#8217;s Tatton Park, which I adore, especially when it’s quiet. And I promise you &#8211; it&#8217;s not always buzzing with dog walkers and yummy mummies and teens whizzing around on bikes. I&#8217;ll wander over from the village and sit by the lake &#8211; it&#8217;s just so peaceful. They also host fantastic events like <a href="https://www.happyplaceofficial.co.uk/pages/festival-tatton-home" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Festival </a>&#8211; and we’re on the lineup for this September! </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-hair-and-beauty">Hair and beauty</h2>



<p>When I need my hair doing, I head over to Wilmslow to <a href="https://harperandquinn.getslick.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Harper &amp; Quinn</a>, a down-to-earth hair salon on Water Lane. The salon is beautiful, I love the outdoor space, and the attention to detail is second to none. Stacey, the owner, is also one of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet. </p>



<p>We’re incredibly lucky at&nbsp;Satya&nbsp;Sanctuary to have&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/gelsbynessa/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Gels by Nessa</a>&nbsp;based within the studio. Her work is nothing short of perfection, and I’ll never let anyone else touch my nails again! For skincare, it’s got to be&nbsp;Roberta Beauty&nbsp;in Knutsford. She’s the queen of skin. I’m forever picking her brain and recommending her to anyone looking to improve their skin health.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-eat">Eat</h2>



<p>For comfort food, it’s&nbsp;Middle Eastern-inspired <a href="https://yararestaurants.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Yara</a>&nbsp;every time. The dips, the flame-licked kebabs and all the picky starters are outstanding. It&#8217;s BYOB too. </p>



<p>I also love&nbsp;<a href="https://chilliclublymm.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Chilli Club</a>&nbsp;in Lymm for incredible Thai food, and if I’m in Manchester,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.phocue.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pho Cue&nbsp;</a>is hands down my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. Whether you go for the steaming bowls of pho, sticky ribs, or their trademark crispy chicken tacos with plenty of zing, it brings all the sharp and fiery flavours direct from Ho Chi Minh.</p>

<p>As for my favourite bakery, there can only be one answer…&nbsp;<a href="https://www.gwienholt.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">G Weinholt’s</a>&nbsp;in Alderley Edge. It’s iconic for a reason. I’ve been going there since I was a child, and I can always remember staring at the cakes, piled high in the counter. We  buy their green Princess Cake for my Mum every year on her birthday. I&#8217;m also incredibly excited for&nbsp;Hatty, formerly of <a href="https://hot-cocoa.square.site" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hot Cocoa</a>, to reopen in her new home. She’s an absolute genius in the kitchen, and I already know it’ll become one of my regular stops. If you haven’t tried her Doughnuts or Toffee Crisps you genuinely have not lived!&nbsp;</p>
